Not sure where to begin?

If you’re interested in working with me, I offer support across personal training, life coaching, and tutoring. Each service has a slightly different structure, but the starting point is designed to be clear, low-pressure, and respectful of your time and mine. Below are the two ways most people begin.

How the process works

Before any ongoing coaching, training, or tutoring begins, the focus is on clarity around goals, expectations, and the most appropriate way to move forward. The starting point depends on the service you’re interested in and how much guidance you’re looking for initially.

Personal Training & Life Coaching

Personal training and life coaching typically involve a deeper level of assessment, structure, and ongoing planning. For that reason, the first step is designed to create clarity before any longer-term work begins.

Option 1: Short Intro Call (Free, 10 minutes)

This is a brief, informal call to check suitability and logistics.

It’s a chance to:

  • Clarify what you’re looking for

  • Confirm whether I’m the right person to help

  • Ask practical questions about availability, structure, or next steps

This call isn’t a consultation and doesn’t involve problem-solving or coaching, it’s simply to help you decide how (or whether) to proceed.

Option 2: Introductory Session (Try Before You Commit)

For those who prefer to get a real sense of the work straight away, the Introductory Session is a one-off, paid session that allows you to experience the approach without committing to anything ongoing.

This applies to personal training, coaching, and tutoring, with the session tailored to the service you’re interested in.

During the session, we’ll:

  • Explore your goals and current challenges

  • Assess where you are right now

  • Discuss what realistic, sustainable progress would look like

The Introductory Session is designed to reduce uncertainty and help you decide whether continuing feels right.

If you choose to continue with a package afterwards, the cost of the Introductory Session is credited towards your first block of sessions.

There’s no hard sell, just clarity and an informed next step.

Psychology & PE / Sport Science Tutoring

Tutoring usually begins with an Introductory Session. This allows time to understand the student’s needs, level, and priorities, and to decide whether ongoing tutoring is the right fit.

As with coaching and training, the cost of the Introductory Session is credited towards the first tutoring package if you choose to continue.

Subjects supported:

  • GCSE & A-Level Psychology

  • GCSE & A-Level PE / Sport Science

How tutoring typically begins:

  • A brief discussion of the student’s needs and goals

  • Optional 10-minute intro chat with a parent or student (if helpful)

  • Lessons then begin, focusing on priority areas and building from there

If you’d like a short introductory chat before booking lessons, you’re welcome to do so.
